Who these terms are with

typesetting.ai is operated by Lucidarc Digital - FZCO, a free zone company registered under trade licence 91969 issued by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, at Premises 91969-001, IFZA Business Park, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. “We” and “us” below mean that company, and it is the entity your payment is made to.

What the service does

typesetting.ai takes a document you upload and returns a formatted version of it. It changes layout, typography, and file format. It does not change your words.

Your work stays yours

You keep every right in the manuscript you upload and in the formatted files we return. Uploading grants us permission to process your file for the sole purpose of formatting it and giving it back to you, for as long as we hold it. We claim no ownership, and we do not use your writing to train models or for any other purpose.

What you can pay for

Formatting is free. Free output carries a small “Made with typesetting.ai” line, is limited to three refinements, and is kept for 24 hours. There are two ways to remove those limits.

• A single file — $5, once. A one-time payment that does not recur. It removes the credit line, lifts the refinement limit for that file, and extends storage to 7 days. It applies to the one file it was bought for, and it does not expire.
• Pro — $12 per month, recurring. A subscription, billed monthly to the card you provide, renewing automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. It unlocks every file on your account for as long as it is active: no credit line, unlimited refinements, 30-day storage, and batch formatting.

A subscription requires an account, because it applies to files rather than to a single purchase. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may be added at checkout.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, which opens the billing portal our payment processor provides. No email, no form, and nobody will ask you why.

Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not end your access immediately — you keep it until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, files that were unlocked only by the subscription return to free-tier behaviour: the credit line comes back on the next download, and storage reverts. Any file you bought outright for $5 stays unlocked permanently; cancelling a subscription never takes back a purchase.

Delivery

Everything here is a digital file delivered immediately in your browser. There is nothing to ship and no waiting period: you can see and read the formatted result before paying anything, and payment removes limits on a file you already have.

Refunds

Single files. If the output is not what you needed, write to us within 30 days and we will refund the $5. You do not need to justify the request.

Subscriptions. Write to us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that month in full. Beyond that, cancelling stops future payments but we do not refund months already used — cancel whenever you like and you will not be billed again.

What we do not promise

We aim to match recognised standards such as Shunn manuscript format, but we cannot guarantee that any particular agent, publisher, or store will accept a given file. Check the output before you submit it anywhere that matters. The service is provided as-is, without warranty, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the file in question.

Keep your own copy of your manuscript. We delete files on the schedule described in the privacy policy and cannot recover them afterwards.

Acceptable use

Do not upload material you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful. Do not attempt to disrupt the service or work around its limits. We may decline service or remove content that breaches this.
