Why spacing usually dies
An indent made of settings does not survive
A stanza indented with the tab key, or with a paragraph setting, loses its shape the moment a reader changes the font size — the indent is measured in a unit that moves, and the poem moves with it.
So spacing is carried through as non-breaking characters, which are part of the text rather than part of a style. They survive the conversion into EPUB, the conversion into PDF, and whatever the reader's device does afterwards. It is a small decision and it is the whole reason the shape holds.

Will my indentation survive?
Yes — that is the entire point of this tool. Leading indents, gaps held open inside a line, and blank lines between stanzas all come through exactly as you wrote them, in all three output formats.
Why does other software break my line breaks?
Because most formatting tools assume prose, where a run of spaces is a typo and a line break is arbitrary. They normalise both. In poetry those are decisions, so this tool switches that behaviour off rather than trying to be clever about it.
Can I paste instead of uploading?
Yes. A short poem is faster to paste than to save as a document first, and pasting skips document conversion altogether, so nothing can be lost in translation. You can also upload .docx or .txt.
Is the text justified?
No. Justification stretches the spaces between words, which would change spacing you chose deliberately. Poems are set ragged-right, unhyphenated. A line too long for the page wraps with a hanging indent so a runover reads as a runover, not as a new line.
Can I publish a poetry collection on KDP or Kindle?
Yes, and poetry is the hardest thing to put on a Kindle, which is worth understanding before you do. An ebook reflows: the reader picks the type size, and a line longer than the screen has to go somewhere. Most tools let it wrap flush left, so a runover looks exactly like a new line of verse and the poem silently changes shape on a small phone. All three are what this tool produces, and none of them are what a general-purpose converter will do by default.
