What an account is for
- Your formatted files in one place, with the date each one expires —24 hours for a free file, 7 days after a $5 unlock.
- A Pro subscription, which applies to every file while it's active.
- Getting back to a file without the tab you formatted it in.
You don't need one to format a file or to unlock one for $5.
